Webinar – Casos de éxito en proyectos europeos: implementación del marco Safe and Sustainable by Design (SSbD) en la industria
In this context, this webinar, organized by the SENTIATECH Platform within the framework of its Working Group 3 , will bring together entities participating in European projects who will share success stories, applied methodologies, challenges encountered, and lessons learned during the implementation of the SSbD approach.
4th SSbD Boot Camp
PARC, the EU partnership for the risk assessment of chemicals, is organizing the 4th SSbD Boot Camp, in Athens (Greece), from 21 to 23 October 2026.
The Boot Camp is a two-day event, consisting of one full day and two half-days, with a highly engaging and interactive programme including expert presentations and hands-on training on the PARC SSbD toolbox and other tools for SSbD.
The programme will focus on key aspects of SSbD, such as scoping analysis, molecular redesign, early screening, and decision making. Applications will be evaluated by field experts and decisions on successful applicants will be announced via email by the end of August/beginning of September 2026.
Participation in the PARC SSbD Boot Camp is free of charge. However, participants will need to cover the costs of their travel and accommodation.

SSbD26 Conference
Following the success of the SSbD24 in Monte Verità and SSbD25 in Zurich, Switzerland, this year’s event continues to bring together a growing and engaged SSbD community.
The SSbD26 Conference is organized by the IRISS International SSbD Community and will take place from November 9-11 2026, in Stockholm, Sweden.
This is the third edition of the yearly SSbD conference, where researchers, industry and policymakers meet to discuss topics related to Safe-and-Sustainable-by-Design (SSbD).
The call for abstracts is open
Contributions from all fields of research, industry, and policy are welcome.The deadline is June 30 2026 (23:59 CEST).
Abstract submission for an oral or poster presentation to ssbd-conference@ivl.se.
