The application of the Safe and Sustainable by Design ( SSbD ) framework is acquiring an increasingly relevant role in the development of new materials, products and processes aligned with European priorities in sustainability, chemical safety and industrial competitiveness .

Following the increasing incorporation of this approach in European R&D programs , numerous companies, technology centers and research organizations are beginning to implement SSbD methodologies in real projects, obtaining experiences and results that provide significant value to accelerate its adoption by industry.

In this context, this webinar, organized by the SENTIATECH Platform within the framework of its Working Group 3 , will bring together entities participating in European projects who will share success stories, applied methodologies, challenges encountered, and lessons learned during the implementation of the SSbD approach. The event will offer a practical perspective on how to integrate safety and sustainability criteria from the earliest stages of technological development, fostering knowledge transfer and the exchange of experiences among the various stakeholders in the innovation ecosystem.
