Established in 1821 and granted university status by royal charter in 1966 and is the eighth-oldest higher education institution in the United Kingdom. Partners at HWU have worked on the safety of particles, pollutants, nanomaterials and advanced materials for over 2 decades.
Main activities and roles in AlchemiSSts
HWU will be participating in Work Packages 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, and 10, and it’s key responsibilities will be participating in the testing and implementation SSbD framework, integration of human and environmental safety profiling, implementation of tools for data sharing, management, and FAIRification, stakeholder engagement, and project management and coordination.
